This volume consists of ten papers by experts who look at the geographical distribution of the plants they have most thoroughly documented. The papers were given at a Symposium sponsored by Virginia Tech and the Association of Southern Biologists held at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, from June 26-28, 1969.
