Published in 1970, this book is not current, but it has the advantage of reflecting the state of arts and crafts of the Cherokees in the 1960s and earlier. This is quite comprehensive, and exceedingly well illustrated. The author was a professor and head of the Department of Industrial Education and Technology at nearby Western Carolina University.
